What is FoAM?
FoAM, Future of Asheville Music, began in December 2006 as an initial gathering of about 70 local Buncombe County musicians at the Asheville Area Arts Council. Developed by the FoAM Core, a play on the traditional steering committee, the FoAM mission is to promote and support Asheville area-based musicians through advocacy, networking, and education.
