“What an amazing weekend filled with Love, Joy, Fishin and Pickin. All together the whole crew took out about 400 fish in 3 days. We jammed in the morning, evening and night.

Between eating 3 course southern style meals everyday, Pickin with some amazing Pickers and the Fishin, we are all wore out. Amazing time… Looking forward to the spring event as we speak.

Thanks to Jennie Hart, J Rob, Walter, Gary, Jenny, Caroline and the Wildman himself Gove…all you folks are awesome!!”

~Much Love LK

Walter Forbes, renowned folk musician, composer and Disney movie narrator commented on this note:

“In the 70s & 80’s we used to have events we called “Swarms” when any number of my Nashville friends would come to the farm and hang out & pick for three or four days. Jack Clement, Alan Reynolds, Gove, Charles Cochran, Vince Gill, Roger Cook, Joe Alan, and so many more musical, funny friends. Bass & Grass recaptured the feeling and music of those weekends. Roger Cook even wrote a song about it, “Georgia Morning and I can feel the peace inside of me”. (Google it, nice song) I really didn’t believe I’d ever experience that kind of feeling again, but then came Big Bass & Blue Grass. Thanks to all the good friends and musicians who made it such a successful “Swarm”. Larry and his Jennie were a great focal point for the group.”
